Yep! I decided to start an Open RPs because why not? and since I finished the OC one before the Touhou one, I thought I could upload it! And come on, who doesn't want to roleplay with a Satori girl who can make eyes appear from her skin?
Anyway let me start!

Kazuko could never really explain why she liked the night so much. Maybe it was because the way the cool breeze would flow through her dark hair, maybe because her pet cat liked the night more than she did and always wanted to follow it during it's endless walks. Maybe because of the creatures that lurk in the night.
She loved monsters: Demons, youkai, any type of monster. She also loved to scare those same creatures as most would try to eat her, mistaking her for a human. She even started second-guessing using that spell to conceal her third eye from most eyes. Only a strong being could ever see it.
"Meow."
Kazuko turned her to her cat, that just made a small meow. It's tail swishing back and forth, and their black fur with hints of red gleeming in the moonlights slighty. She giggled as she picked and carried it in her arms
"Of course kitty, I know why we're here. The spirits are telling me about this place; there's monsters here! Besides...we're no different from them. I just feel sorry for the one who tries to hurt me. I don't go down easily"

A dry chuckle filled the air.
"Well, it's a good thing I listened before I leaped, huh?' A youkai walked up from behind her, a curious grin on her face. She had teal green hair, black eyes, and wore a black shirt and pants with a thorn motif. Her bare feet crunched on the wet grass. "So, if you aren't human, then what are you? Oh, where are my manners? The name's Hakkyou, and you?"

"Hm?" Kazuko turned to the chuckling and smiled softly. "Yes that is good! I would have to destroy your mind then Hakkyou dear!" She then curtised. "My name is Kazuko Iwata and this...." She lifted her cat up into the air, carefully trying not to scare it but the cat seemed unaffected by the sudden grabbing. "is my cat, his name is Rin; the latin name Rin, not the japanese one since they have different meanings!"
She then sighed a bit, her smile still on her face. "Alright, I guess I really couldn't hide after flat out saying it. I'm a Satori, Hakkyou dear. A youkai of mind." She then moved her right hand over her heart and then in a circular motion to reveal a purple eye along with cords stopping at different parts of her body. "See? I have the eye and everything! I just conceal it!"

Hakkyou petted the cat, who rubbed its head against her hand. "Very smart of you, hiding your eye... It's good to meet you, Kazaku, Rin. It seems you live among the humans, so what brings you out into the night, so far from home?"

"Of course it's smart! Then people would be after me for my abilities like my friend!" She said with a silly expression. "Anyway I'm here far from home because well, I wanted to. I mean I can handle most of the monsters here if they try to attack me plus Rin here can protect me!"

River stood amongst a group of fearsome youkai, his magical shotgun attached to his back as he slowly drew a black katana. He had snow white hair that was spiked upwards and fierce red eyes, however they were hidden by his black sunglasses. His attire consisted of a black leather trenchcoat, a black undershirt, black combat jeans, black combat boots and black leather gloves. His skin was a deep tan as he spun around and beckoned the youkai to come towards him. "You coming or not? I don't got all day."
They all charged toward him as he weaved in out of their attacks like they weren't there before cutting through them like butter. "Too bad I don't have any toast." The white haired warrior said as caught one of their arms and ripped it off. It grabbed for his face even though it was unattached. "I'd love a handy, but I'll have to pass." He cut the arm in half. At that moment, a giant zombie appeared behind him and attempted to eat him, to which he responded by placing his magical shotgun he drew with his left hand into it's mouth. "Choke on this." He said as he fired a magical blast into it's mouth and caused it to explode from the inside. The result was River getting covered in guts and slime. "As much as I like to be showered with praise, this is just silly."
That wasn't it for his battle, an alien leaped out of nearby brush and grabbed his throat. He shot it through the chest with his shotgun and threw the body aside. He shook his head and placed a cigarette in his mouth before blowing a puff of smoke. "Now that's what I call a close encounter."

Kazuko stood there for awhile, trying to process what just happened. Did that man just take out all of those youkai? He went through them like they were nothing! Like if they were butter! She then broke out of her thoughts and noticed the man was talking to her. "You mean me? Well alright then." She walked towards him. As she did, her cat broke out of her grasp and to the man's feet; it then started hissing at him,it's fur stood up and it's teeth barred.
"No, no Rin! I think this man is nice, I sense no ill intent with him....yet. Anyway, I do beleive we should introduce ourselves mister."

River turned his attention to those who had walked up to him and sheathed his katana in a sheathe on his left waist before placing his shotgun in a holster on his back. "Name's River D. Scarlett. You could call me a Youkai Hunter." He backhanded a zombie that was trying to sneak up on him. "You shouldn't be out at this time of night, it's rather dangerous." He ducked as a youkai lunged at him and he elbowed it in the stomach. He looked down at the cat. "Smart one, I'm probably the most dangerous one here." He said with a semi smile.

Hakkyou watched River warily. The cat didn't like him, and neither did she. Yes, he was a ridiculously powerful warrior, but that didn't make him trustworthy at all. Kazaku seemed to like him instantly, but that was probably just awe, along with her time with humans diluting her senses. But until he tried to hurt either of them, Hakkyou supposed she should play nice.
"A youkai hunter, huh? Sounds like dangerous work, I'd hate for you to have any... accidents."

Kazuko puffed her cheeks out in a put and crossed her arms. "What do you mean it's dangerous for me to be out here? I could handle myself Mr. Scarlett! Besides I can't let Rin here go on by himself on another one of his walks! Terrible things would happen! Besides even if Rin wasn't out, I still could handle myself as a Satori"
Meanwhile, the cat known as Rin attention moved from the strange man to the fallen youkai. The scent of those bodies were so strong yet...so inviting. Kazuko is still near me, It would hurt to eat. He moved towards one of the bodies and began to nibble on it cheerfully, it's tails swishing back and forth in glee.

Hakkyou glanced at the cat eating the dead youkai. 'Eww, that's just gross... then again, they do look kinda tasty... no, no, focus!'
She leaned over and whispered to Kazaku,
"I'm sure you can handle yourself, but maybe we should leave this guy alone. He is a Youkai Hunter, and we are youkai, not to mention you're a kind of youkai that's not supposed to be above ground. He might decide to kill you just for that, so let's go while we can!"

River simply shrugged before turning around. "Not all Youkai are bad, oh and I don't care who's supposed to be above or underground, don't matter to me. The kind of Youkai I hunt." He cut down a another zombie with his sword. "Are those stupid enough to attack people out in the open. I hunt youkai for sport, not to protect anyone." He said as he began walking away. "I only serve myself." He leapt into the shadows.

Hakkyou chuckled. "Well, I guess I misjudged him, then. Sorry to worry you Kazaku, if I did. And you, cat, save some of that for me!" Rin glared at Hakkyou, making it very clear that any attempt to take his food wouldn't end well.

Rin gave a look to Kazuko and she chuckled and turned to Hakkyou. "I don't know if he would want to share his food, even if he can obtain more on his own." She then sighed. "Yes, I know that Satoris are normally underground and avoided but it's no fun being with the same people over again! They aren't easy bait like some of the youkai here. You sound like my father with that"
At the mention of her father, Rin looked up from eating and narrowed it's eyes.
"Yes, I know you don't like my dad, Rin."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like that," Hakkyou said. "It's just... those hunters worry me. Sure, most of them wouldn't hurt us, but then there are some I've met who'll take any reason they can make up to justify killing us all." She sighed. "Still, it's better than it used to be, back before Gensokyo. I thought I'd never sleep again, with all those hunters after me... but what am I doing, boring you with the past? You probably don't want to hear that, no."
She glanced up at the sky, a thoughtful look on her face.
"Are you hungry? I have some food at my place, if you'd like to join me."
